Purifier for municipal use.

The work involved renovating the aeration system in the biological oxidation, sludge digestion and degritting tanks.
The aim of the work was to boost the capacity of the plant and obtain a greater quantity of oxygen transfer compared to the previous system (porous ceramic pipes).

Solution:
AIREX 12″ series disc diffusers installed on PVC fixed piping at the bottom of the tank, and coarse-bubble diffusers in the degritting section.

The installation required a total of 2 days to complete.
The work allowed the aeration systems in all sections of the plant to be fully revamped, thus boosting its capacity and achieving significant energy savings, as only one compressor is now required instead of the three previously installed.
