Airex fine-bubble disc diffusers are available in two sizes with different unit air capacity. They can be supplied separately, or in pre-assembled networks designed by the S.C.M. Tecnologie in-house technical department based on the various treatment types and tank configurations.
The fine-bubble microperforated membrane combines high oxygen transfer yield with low load losses. EPDM is the material most commonly used for the membrane. A type of elastomer, it enables the diffusers to be used successfully for most municipal applications as well as many industrial applications.
Airex diffusers are also available with a silicone membrane, for high-temperature applications and particularly aggressive wastewaters.
Membranes with different perforation configurations can be produced as required by the type of wastewater.
